Many apps have blur options, but they don’t let all access. Well, again you can find mistakes here and there in this photo because we can’t make things All Perfect, but what I’m trying to share – if you want to have complete control to work on a Photo, you have the option! & an effort is all you need, also with some tricks we can deliver Beautiful works.. oh, & did I mention Imagine? because Disney said – If you can imagine it, you can do it.

Now first let’s see if we only want to make the background blur, without destroying the foreground or, let’s just say the foreground should be entirely focused and we shall make the background blurry.

To do so – First I Opened up my Photoshop, Opened up this image & made –Two copies of the image – That’s ctrl J two times. and I named one copy background & another one foreground. First I disabled Background & Background Copy & enabled foreground Layer, then I selected the quick selection tool and clicked on the select subject ( this way Photoshop automatically selects the subject ) but it didn’t make the selection perfect, so I had to complete the selection by clicking alt( In windows) and drag it to make a selection. when the selection was completed I clicked on the layer mask and with the layer mask selected I clicked ctrl to bring back the selection, then I disabled the foreground layer and enabled the background layer. I had to make the selection expended, so I clicked on Select from the menu – Modify – Expend. then I made the subject disappear by clicking Fill – Content-aware.

Now I enabled the foreground layer, then selected the background layer & converted the layer into a smart object. then I added a filter to the background layer by clicking Filter – Blur gallery – Field blur. and there I found Tilt-Shift. and I actually worked with the Tilt-Shift slider alone to design this image, where you can see the top & bottom of the image are blurry & the subject is focused.

_______________

❤

Life would be very easy if we could make all things happen in one tap action.
